confessions of a college student

Until this time, i still come to think that i'm still a high school student. Maybe because i'm just used to my life as a high school student and that i haven't moved on yet. i enjoyed my high school life because that stage of my life created a big advancement in my personality as a human being. And i will cherish every moment i spent in those years.
And now that i'm entering college life and trying to cope with it, i realized many things. One is that high school life is very much different compared to college life, from the environment, to the ways of living and to each person that surrounds me. I describe this stage to be more difficult but more challenging one. More difficult because i have to live with only myself and away from my family. but more challenging because this is a new world for me now that will create and mold me into a better person.
in these few months of my stay in U.P., i testify that i've learned many things through my experiences here. and i'm trying to enjoy all of these because i'm moving on to a new step in the ladder of my life and i'm looking forward to a great transformation in my life.

if time could be turned back
i would like to roll back the clock
or build up a time machine
to let me go back to where i've been

those misfortunes i had
changing the past won't be bad
because now i've come to realize
that life is just rolling the dice

when you see taht all have been done
you can't go back and take a run
because that's life supposed to be
winning over fate is just to see

if i couldn't take the time machine to the past
maybe i could make the clock tick fast
so that problems and worries
would just be on their hurries

When i was a child, i thought of becoming a superhero. And i asked myself, "what would be my special powers?"
i could be like Superman, with his extra ordinary strength and flying power, i could save and help people. But i thought, as long as there' the kryptonite, Superman would be useless. Or i could be like Batman, with his wealth and physical abilities, i could be a superhero with no extraordinary power. But what if i don't have the wealth to buy and make my weapons, i could be useless also.
Now, i have decided to be a superhero with only one superpower. And that superpower would be the ability to make every people in Earth to be good, to be Christ-like. by this, the world would be a peaceful one and it would be worth living for. No problems and crimes would be made because all evil doings and sins would be removed from the minds of the people. And the world would be perfect!!

Chemistry is my favorite subject ever since and so I took Chemistry as my course. And now that the semester ends, all i can say is that i enjoyed every meeting we had in our chem 16 lab. every electrons we've shared, covalent bonds have formed. Truly, we are of different kinds of compounds but in our class, miscibility proved that we can share with one environment. with our instructor, Ms. Ruth, we spent each meeting as if we were atoms in a molecule, we showed nonpolarity with each other. Enthalpies may change but at the end of the day, i prove to myself that i belong with them. exams may seem difficult for us but as Avogadro's law says, pressure exerted to us is just proportional to the moles we learn. and now that the semester approaches its end, i see myself in a nuclear reaction, bombarded with particles, and as a product, a more stable me.
